Charlotte M. Snyder, 88, of Brazil, passed away at Cloverleaf Nursing Home, Saturday, May 4, 2013, following an extended illness. Charlotte was born in Clay County, May 28, 1925. She married Alfred “Ted” Nicholls and he preceded her in death in 1973. She later married James Snyder also who preceded her in death.
Charlotte worked as a waitress at the Blue Bonnet Restaurant. She also worked for Fleetwood Trailer manufacturer as a cabinet stainer. Charlotte enjoyed working outside in her yard and gardening.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Hurton, Mary Myers, Geneva McClelland, Katheryn Dickerson, Ruby Fink, Ethel Milner, and Helen Stough; brothers, Oscar Dickerson, Russell Dickerson, Jim Dickerson, Everett Dickerson, John Dickerson, and Ben Dickerson. She leaves behind her son, Ron Nicholls and wife Terri of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Brenda Freeman and husband Buddy; three grandchildren, Ron Nicholls and wife Ashley of Columbus, Sara Freeman and Brad Freeman; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Nicholls and Ava Nicholls, both of Columbus; as well as many nieces, and nephews; and extended family members.
