Rosanna L. Krock

MARSHALL, Ill. — Rosanna L. Krock, 87, of Marshall, passed away 6:28 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, in the Burnsides Community Health Center. She was retired from the office of General Telephone and also Sears, both of Terre Haute, Ind. She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in rural Clark County, the daughter of Frank and Grace Baggs Tingley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Snyder and John Butcher; three spouses, Harry Snyder, Wilson C. Butcher and Carlton “Bud” Krock; and a brother, Albert Tingley.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Harry Dean) Huffington of West Union, and Donna (Bill) Brown of Champaign; six grandchildren, Scott Tyler, Keith Snyder, Adam Buntain, Tim Huffington, Nick Huffington and Jay Huffington; nine great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, going to yard sales and jewelry making. She loved to read and was a graduate of Marshall High School.

Services in honor of her life will be 10 a.m. CDT Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and prior services on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, it is requested for those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Cemetery Association. Online condolences are being received at:
