TERRE HAUTE —
Paul E. Earles, 66, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born in Cincinnati, on Feb. 3, 1947, to Charles and Lela (Carithers) Earles.
Paul proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971. He retired from JI Case as a machinist after 22 years of service. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 22 years in 2009. Paul enjoyed working and driving his 1966 Chevy II; he also enjoyed working on his International Farmall tractor.
He is survived by his father, Charles Earles of Terre Haute; life partner, Terri Mahan of Terre Haute; son, Paul E. Earles Jr. of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Cameron Earles and wife Alyssa, and Holly Earles of Cincinnati; two brothers, Jim Earles and wife Glenda of Plainfield, and Bill Earles and wife Barb of Cape Coral, Fla.; niece, Nancy Logsdon and husband Greg; nephew, Matt Earles; along with several cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Lela Earles.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 25, 2013, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. A funeral ceremony will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the funeral home with Brother Samuel Miller officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972 and the Indiana Honor Guard.
