MONTEZUMA — Jack D. Wilburn, 80, of Montezuma, passed away at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. He was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Montezuma, to Bill Wilburn and Josephine Peterson Wilburn. He was a heavy equipment operator with Local 841. He was a member of the John Deer Tractor Club. He loved visiting churches and had been a chaplain for Union Hospital Clinton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda Wilburn; and three sisters, Dorothy, Barbara and Thelma.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie and Wayne Baldwin of Montezuma; a son, Randall Wilburn of Montezuma; four grandchildren, Kimberly and Amy, both of Montezuma, Christen and Eric, both of Terre Haute; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Abram, both of Terre Haute; two sisters, Alberta Leverenz and Ruth Harvey, both of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Revs. Keith McIntyre, Craig Arnold and Mark Houvenagle officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Light House Mission.
