Marjorie P. Clement, 89, of Clinton, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013, in Union Hospital Clinton. She was born on May 29, 1924, in Owensboro, Ky., to Roy Isbill Sr. and Olvie Pryor Isbill. She was a wonderful cook and had worked in many restaurants, she loved to dance, sing and listen to country music. She enjoyed going to the American Legion and the Eagles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Sam Cohen and Gerald Clement; one son, Jerry Pharr; five sisters, Irene, Ruth, Emma, Betty, and Barbara; and one brother, the Rev. James H. Isbill. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann and Terry; a companion, Francis Tarwater; and two brothers, Roy Isbill Jr., and William “Bill” Isbill; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1 p.m. with Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
