Sheila Boone, 51, of Shelburn, passed away in her residence on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. She was born Feb. 9, 1962, in Indianapolis, to Roscoe Franklin Spencer and Anna Mae Abrams Spencer. She was employed as a nuclear radiologist technician at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, and was a 1980 graduate of Sullivan High School.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Stephanie Herr (Charles) of Sullivan; stepdaughters, Lori and Lisa Boone, both of Indianapolis; sons, Josh Burnett (Leah Jett) of Carlisle, and Travis Stout of Sullivan; a stepson, Jason Boone (Shannon) of Maple Hill, N.C.; brothers, Mark Spencer (Mikki) of Evansville, and Daryl Spencer (Bonnie) of Sheridan, Ark.; a brother-in-law, Donnie Pinkston of Sullivan; and nine grandchildren, Destiny Herr, Malorie Herr, Gabriel Herr, Nolan Burnett, Nora Burnett, Alexis Boone, Vanessa Hoopingarner, Jaxon Carie and Logan Carie. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Vicki Pinkston (Donnie) of Sullivan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Holmes Memorial Chapel, in Sullivan. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Norman Santus officiating. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
