JASONVILLE — Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Jacob, 69, of Jasonville, passed away at 3:55 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1943, in Sullivan, to Bryce Dickerson and Edna (DePriest) Dickerson.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Torey and John Stevenson of Jasonville; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Lori Netherlain of Farmersburg, and Doug Netherlain and Kevin Netherlain, both of Jasonville; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Betty Dickerson of Henryville; grandchildren, Taylor Netherlain, Lexi Netherlain, Bryce Netherlain, Josh Netherlain, Megan Netherlain, Koye Netherlain, Samantha Netherlain, Tabitha and Justin Greenwell, Andrew Keller, Jeremy Stevenson and Dia, and Seath Stevenson and Terri; great-grandchildren, Drake, Devin, Madison, Abigail, Jacob, Lucas, Daniel, and DJ; sister-in-law, Mary Lou and Keith Quick; and mother-in-law, Betty Netherlain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Jacob; granddaughter, Laci Netherlain; and great-grandson, Christopher Perez.
Betty worked at Metropolitan School District of Shakamak first in the kitchen and later as a custodian for 16 years. She attended and was a member of Anchored In Faith Church near Vicksburg, Ind.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home, Michael W. Cox, 218 South Meridian St., in Jasonville, and 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Anchored In Faith Church near Vicksburg. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Anchored In Faith Church with Pastor Larry Watters officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Foundation in memory of Betty. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
