MARSHALL, Ill. —
MARSHALL, Ill. — Juanita Mary Snider, 68, of Marshall, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at her home. She was retired from Kroger, in Terre Haute, Ind. She was born Feb. 9, 1945, at Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas H. and Edna Belle Clouse Simpson. She married Charles O. Snider in 1962, at Philson, and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2010.
Surviving are four daughters, Lora (Scott) Athey of Terre Haute, Connie (Greg) Hamilton, Mary Ann (Alfred) Morgan and Pam Marshall, all of Marshall; a brother, William Simpson of Paris; a sister, Barbara Berry of Paris; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Simpson; and two sisters, Ida Marie Simpson and Evelyn K. Simpson.
Prior to working at Kroger she was employed by Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall. She loved flower gardening and was a true blue Indianapolis Colts fan and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt fan.
Services in honor of her life will be 12 noon CDT Saturday, at Pearce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Penny Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Embarras Cemetery, rural Edgar County.
