In loving memory of our precious Jane Decker who passed on to be with Jesus at 11:16 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur Moore and Mayme Rodgers Moore; brothers and sisters, Rosetta Stewart, Jack Moore, William Moore, Thomas Moore, Bob Moore, Junior Moore, Mary Ellen Mishler, and Eugene Moore.
She is survived by sisters, Jodi Lynch, Agnes Hoggatt, Faye Brown of Brazil, and Marie Abernathy of Rosedale; and brothers, Virgil Moore of Colton, Calif., and Larry Moore of Brazil.
Jane was born on Feb. 5, 1941, in Brazil, and attended Van Buren High School. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Mary J. Boatright of Waynetown, James E. Boatright of Goldsboro, N.C., and Donald Boatright of Aurora, Ill. She also was a grandmother of six and great-grandmother of seven. She worked for 10 years at Old Glory Decorators and was a member of Rock Run Church. She faithfully supported the Disabled Veterans Association and was a member of AARP.
She was not ashamed of the gospel and those who knew and loved her were blessed as a result of her faithfulness and love for God.
Funeral services for Jane Decker will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday May 8, 2013, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Road, in Waynetown, with James Boatright officiating. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the services. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
