Jack F. Roberts of Terre Haute, died Jan. 31, 2013, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. He was born April 28, 1947, in Bradford, Pa., the son of Jack F. Roberts and Martha M. (Layfield) Roberts. He was a retired oil rigger and an over the road truck driver. Jack also was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
He enjoyed spending time with his little fishing buddy, Jacquelyn, and the family’s newest edition, Bella. He was a three time inductee of the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Patricia Roberts.
He is survived by children, Jackie Roberts, Eddie Roberts, Angela Covarrubias, Tony Roberts, Kim Aldus, Tina Abbott and Eric Maness; siblings, Jennie Riendeau, Larry White, Ted A. Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, Debbie Crain; his girlfriend, Lou Ann Singelton; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Journey Christian Fellowship, 1313 Lafayette Ave. with the Rev. Ric May officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of services Thursday. Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
