CLINTON — Harold Leroy Holloway, 68, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Vincennes, to William B. Holloway and Mary Lou (Purdue) Holloway Pollock, on July 19, 1944.
Harold retired from the Bemis Company in Terre Haute and proudly served in the U.S. Army from March 8, 1962 to Feb. 28, 1965. He loved working on VCRs, playing pool, fishing and working in the yard.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret Jean (Moore) Holloway; his children, Melissa Griffin and Travis Holloway, both of Clinton; his grandchildren, Taylor and Letitia Griffin, Brianne Griffin and her fiancé Mike Wyatt, and Courtney Wright; a great-grandchild, Camden Buck, and one on the way; his brothers, Ed Holloway of Vincennes, and Jesse Lee Pollock of Rockport; his sisters, Shirley Johnson of Henderson, Ky., Carol Pearson of Brazil, and Mary Kay Moore of Vincennes; along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Harold in death were his parents; a brother, John Holloway; and a sister, Paula K. Decker.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, in Vincennes. Visitation will be from noon until the service time. Per his wishes his body will be donated to science after the service.
