Patricia Ann Nutter


---- — Patricia Ann Nutter, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in Union Hospital. Patricia was born June 18, 1941, in Princeton, to David and Dorothy Fischer Thompson. After raising her children, she worked for many years and then retired from Sony DADC, where she took pride in her work as a printer. Pat loved her family. She was actively involved in their lives and enjoyed creating things for them.  Crafts, sewing, word games, connecting with loved ones through technology, and desserts were just a few of her passions. Pat will be remembered as a model of strength during times of adversity.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Brian Nutter. She is survived by one son, Brad Nutter and his wife Cathy; three daughters, Stephanie Edwards, Michelle Nutter and her husband Greg Phegley, and Rebecca Giannelli and her husband David; five brothers, David Thompson and his wife Rita, Ted Thompson and his wife Rita, Jim Thompson and his wife Pam, Tommy Thompson, and Tony Thompson and his wife Nancy; one sister, Sue Horton and her husband Bill; nine grandchildren, Nicole Bell and her husband Ryan, Heather Burch and her husband Joshua, Bradley Nutter, Brandon Nutter, Cierra Nutter, Danielle Edwards, Katelin Edwards, Jacob Giannelli, and Marissa Giannelli; and four great-grandchildren, Austin Long, Alivia Bell, Adrian Bell, and Kelsey Burch. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, family, and loved ones.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th Street, in Terre Haute, with Friar Mark Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Rosedale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Monday at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Princeton, N.J. 08540.
