PEMBERVILLE, Ohio —
PEMBERVILLE, Ohio—Orin “Mac” McCullough, age 85, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born on Aug. 7, 1927, in Brazil, to Russell and Mary Virginia (Hudson) McCullough. On Nov. 25, 1954, he married Margaret Mary Brunette, in Brazil, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 2012.
For more than 25 years Mac was a bowling mechanic in Terre Haute. In his spare time, he loved bowling, mushroom hunting, playing cards and watching his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs. Mac served his country proudly during World War II, while enlisted in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1947.
Mac is survived by his son: Mike (Kelly) McCullough of Perrysburg, Ohio; daughters, Elizabeth McCullough of Buffalo, N.Y., Kim McCullough of Denver; grandchildren, Nicholas and Lucas McCullough, Conner and Gabrielle Lindholm; and sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Chiddister of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Dale and Claude; and sister, Marjorie Woodrum.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013, at DeBaun Funeral Home, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. There will be additional visitation from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum. A bereavement luncheon will be served at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, immediately following the cemetery committal services.
