Rose Mary Davison, 84, passed away on March 12, 2014 in Westridge Health Care Center. She was born June 27, 1929 in Indianapolis to William Doerre and Lonava Doris Farmer. Rose Mary was a homemaker most of her adult life. After the passing of her husband in 1985, she worked as a home health care worker, cooking for, reading to and giving companionship to those who were homebound. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her only sibling, William Doerre and wife, Allie of Indianapolis; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pearl Davison of West Terre Haute; a daughter-in-law, Jane Davison of Terre Haute; Grandchildren, Melissa and Todd Stillwell of Marshall, IL, Lisa and Darren Barnhart of Cloverdale, IN, Troy Davison of West Terre Haute, and Todd Davison of Gulf Shores, AL; great-grandchildren, Savanah and Jesse Moore, Ashleigh and Stephen Stucker, Dylan Stillwell, Lindsey Hettich and Adam Masters (fiancé), Makayla Hettich, Katie Davison and Cody Bradbury (fiancé), and Gage Davison; and two great-great-grandchildren, Braxton Stucker and Oakley Stucker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Davison Jr. in 1985; a son, Herb Davison III in 1990; and a daughter, Cathy Davison in 2010.
In honoring Rose Mary’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation is scheduled. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park next to her husband. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home of West Terre Haute assisted with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Westridge Health Care Center and Dr. Singh group for their care of Rose Mary.
