TERRE HAUTE —
Barbara June Caraway, 77, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Herrin, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Barbara was born Aug. 13, 1935, in Kenosha Wis., to Wallace and Sarah Wood Clark.
Barbara was a homemaker, raising her children and grandchildren were her most humble accomplishments. Barbara enjoyed sewing and reading, but most of all loved life. She was always fun loving and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church, and will be loved and missed by all of her fellow church members. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one son, Keith Caraway and wife Marilyn of Cambria, Ill.; one daughter, Cindy Caraway of Terre Haute; one brother, Wallace Clark and wife Sara of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mark Caraway and wife Christy, and Matthew Caraway; a nephew, Shane Clark and wife Amanda; and one great-nephew, Shale Clark. Barbara also leaves behind many cousins, friends, family, and loved ones.
Funeral service will be Monday, June 24, 2013, at 5 p.m., at New Life Fellowship Church, 7849 Wabash Ave., with Pastor Jeffrey Harpole officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Herrin City Cemetery, in Herrin, Ill., at 1 p.m. EDT.
