Delbert ‘Teddy’ Elleman

Delbert “Teddy” Elleman, 46, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Union Hospital. Teddy was born in Terre Haute, on Nov. 1, 1966, to Delbert Theodore Elleman Jr. and Sandra Silvers Elleman. Teddy was employed at FutureX in Terre Haute.

Teddy loved fishing, boating, baseball and socializing with his family and friends. He was also a very good pool player.

Teddy was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Theodore Elleman; and his stepfather, Jerry Berkley Sr. He also was preceded in death by grandparents, Marguerite and Delbert Elleman, William and Ada Silvers and Catherine “Toots” Biggs and Jack Barrett. Teddy is survived by one daughter, Kayla Dawn Walker of Terre Haute; his mother, Sandra Silvers Berkley of West Terre Haute; stepmother, Cathy Hedden and her husband Dale of Terre Haute. He also is survived by a brother, Billy Elleman of Terre Haute; a stepbrother, Jerry Berkley Jr., also of Terre Haute; sisters, Tracy Elleman of Terre Haute and Mary Elleman of Minnesota; stepsisters, Sandra “Sissy” Berkley of West Terre Haute and Michelle Stanley of Shelburn; two grandchildren, Cheyne Walker and Keylen Boone, both of Terre Haute;  nieces and nephews, Nikki Michelle, Daisy, Shelby, Billy Joe, Andrew, Dakota, R.J.; and other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 5 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, in Terre Haute. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Janice Smith will be officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the family to offset funeral expenses. On line condolences may be made at:
