Clara M. Buddle Lowe, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Clara was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Terre Haute, to Carl and Opal Diehl King. Clara was a unit manager at R.H. Donnelley Corporation in Terre Haute, and was also a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church.
Clara enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and also was an exceptional cook. Most of all, Clara was a giving person, whether it was love to her family or volunteering at the Barbour Avenue Food Pantry.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Buddle; two brothers, Johnny and Roy King; and two sisters, Helen Shannon and Marie Pearce. Clara is survived by her three sons, Tim Buddle and his wife Cindy, Ronald Buddle Jr. and his wife Jani, and Rick Buddle and his wife Patty, all of Terre Haute; one sister, Rosanna “Posey” Hayne; six grandchildren, Neil Buddle, Chad Buddle, Rebecca Kokubun, Holly Michael, Ronald Buddle III, and Ryan Buddle. She also is survived by six stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a very special niece and nephew, Kay and Robert Trueblood; as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.
Funeral service for Clara will be held Monday, July 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street. Father Bernie LaMontagne will be officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday. Online condolences may be made at:
