Jessie A. (Lynch) Glenn Nicoson

BRAZIL — Jessie A. (Lynch) Glenn Nicoson, 96, lifelong resident of Brazil, passed away Oct. 30, 2013, at Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. Jessie was born Aug. 18, 1917, in Brazil, the daughter of Hugh and Etta (Fischer) Lynch. She married Thomas H. Glenn, who preceded her in death in 1979. Later she married Herschel Nicoson who preceded her in death in 1997.  

Jessie was a member of Berea Christian Church.

In addition to both of her husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John J. Lynch, Hugh Lynch Jr., Lester Lynch, Myrtle Britton, Mary Cagle, Helena Foreman, Maxine Burk and a sister in infancy, Annie Lynch.

She is survived by her nephews, James Britton, Gary L. Burk (Barbara), John L. Burk (Vickie), Thomas Lynch (Cindy); nieces, June McCullough (Don), Joyce Lockhart (Richard), Carolyn Crane, MaryLou Sartor (Paul), Linda Swaner (Ron), Judy Gilbert, Sandra Gallardo, and Patsy Shephard (Acy); a cousin, William “Billy” Lynch Jr.; as well  as many extended family members.

Services for Jessie will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at 2 p.m., at French Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Saturday, from noon until time of services. Should you so desire, donations may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, P.O. Box 277, Brazil, IN 47834, in her memory.
