JASONVILLE — Vivian L. Kramer, 82, of Jasonville, Ind., passed away at 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Glenburn Home, Linton, Ind.
She was born April 9, 1931 in Jasonville, to Pearson L. Wade and Rebah L. (Welch) Wade.
Vivian married David E. Kramer on Nov. 2, 1952, and he passed away on Sept. 23, 2013.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya “Red” and Chris Lancaster of Linton; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Marilyn Kramer of Jasonville, Ind.; and Brett and Rebecca Kramer of Linton; grandchildren, Kent Kramer, Chelsey Skinner, Kurt Kramer, Kyle Kramer and Blake Kramer; great-grandchildren, Kash Kramer, Kasen Kramer, Preslee Kramer, Paislee Kramer and Sophia Skinner; brother, Ray Wade of California; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Freddie Kramer of Lewis, Ind.; sister-in-law, Betty Kramer of Linton; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David, of 60 years; and brother, Donald Wade.
Vivian was a graduate of Jasonville High School. She had been a homemaker, worked at Pfizer, Formfit and Hilman Jewelers, and was owner/operator of the MAB Paint store in Jasonville until her retirement. She was a member of the Jasonville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed pitching horseshoes and camping, and loved her flower garden.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian St., Jasonville, Ind., with visitation scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Cox Funeral Home, with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Ind.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Vivian to the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
