TERRE HAUTE —
Mary Elizabeth Jameson, 87, of Buchanan, Tenn., formerly of Terre Haute, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Murray Calloway County Hospital, in Murray, Ky. She was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Terre Haute.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Jameson, whom she married Aug. 11, 1951; daughter, Shelley (Mark) Butts of Buchanan; sister, Billie Kirchner of Terre Haute; brother, Jim (Jody) Jacks of Terre Haute; one grandchild, Jani (Kevin) Adams of Terre Haute; and one great-grandchild, Kevin Michael Adams of Terre Haute.
She was preceded in death by her father; William Jacks, her mother, Cecil Mallory Jacks; sisters, Dorothy Jacks and Jo Ann Morlan; and a brother, Robert Jacks.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, in Paris, Tenn. She liked to travel, was an avid reader, and enjoyed bowling in her younger years.
Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home, in Paris, Tenn. There also will be visitation from noon until services at 2 p.m. Friday in the Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel. There will be a memorial service at a later date at the Presbyterian Church, in Paris, Tenn.
