ARLINGTON, Va. —
Nathaniel Snyder Miklozek passed peacefully in the arms of his mother and father on October 9, 2013. Nate is the son of John and Lara Miklozek of Arlington, Virginia. Nate was born at 6:22 a.m. and passed from this life unto the next after 16 hours. Before passing away, he was baptized by the hospital’s chaplain, Rev. Dr. Graham Bardsley, and then received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Anointing of the Sick from Rev. Fr. Gregory Gresko. Nate was a wonderful and beautiful baby boy who is loved and will be sorely missed by his parents, family, and friends.
Nate is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents Stephen Kaskie and Renee Williams of Bonita Springs, Florida; and paternal grandparents Frank and Beth Miklozek of Terre Haute, Indiana. Nate is also survived by his uncles Joe Kaskie of Atlanta, Georgia; Tom Kaskie of Covington, Kentucky; and Frank and Ben Miklozek, both of Terre Haute, Indiana. Nate is survived by his aunts Sarah Kaskie of Covington, Kentucky; and Heather and Elizabeth Miklozek, both of Terre Haute, Indiana. In addition, Nate is survived by his godfather Otto Heck of Washington, D.C., who was present for each of his sacraments.
Nate’s funeral took place on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s on Capitol Hill, followed by a reception at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington, Virginia. Nate will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 12 p.m. at St. Benedict Parish in Terre Haute, Indiana, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Local arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
