TERRE HAUTE —
Barbara June Wilson, 80, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Cobblestone Crossing Health Care. Barbara was born in Clinton, on June 30, 1932, the daughter of Morton R. and Eva R. (Vestal) Hatley. Barbara worked for many years in quality control at Columbia House Records and in later years was a resident assistant for the Hamilton Center.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her children, Dean (Debbie) Wilson, Dennis (Gerrie) Wilson, both of Clinton, Debbie Tomich of Terre Haute, Dirk Wilson of Clinton, Dee Hawkins of Murfeesboro, Tenn., and Sherri (Randy) Bryant of Zionsville; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Barbara spent her free time enjoying crossword puzzles, reading books and visiting with her family and friends. Mrs. Wilson was a youthful soul when she was telling a joke, or would write a poem for any occasion.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Prarieton Firehouse (3862 Hotel Street) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to share memories of Barbara.
