TERRE HAUTE —
Patricia Rose Madigan, 66, of Forney, Texas, and formerly of Terre Haute, died early Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, Texas.
Trish was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Terre Haute. She graduated from Wiley High School in 1964. She was an LPN and retired as a clerk from the VA Hospital in Marion, Ill. She attended Christian Center of Mesquite. She enjoyed reading and visiting the ocean, her favorite place in the world. She loved spending time with her family, especially laughing with them, and her new granddaughter was one of her greatest joys.
She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Madigan of Forney and Paige Fuqua and her husband Kyle of Murray, Ky.; one granddaughter, Audrey Elise Fuqua; three brothers, Norman Carlson, Vernon Carlson and James Carlson; four sisters, Carol Penrod, Joan Barbee, Marjorie Stewart, and Elaine Stephens; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Larry Madigan; and her parents, John and Lorene Carlson.
Visitation will be from 9 until 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with funeral services to follow in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with her brother, Norman Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
