BRAZIL — Darrell Ray Moore III, 18, was taken unexpectedly Saturday, April 6, 2013. Darrell was born Feb. 4, 1995, the son of the late Darrell Moore Jr. and Leandra Rae (Orick) Moore. Darrell had attended Northview High School, and was recently working as a roofer for Pell Roofing and Siding.
Darrell loved the outdoors, especially mushroom hunting, riding his dirt bike, fishing, lawn mower derbies, and deer hunting. He shot his first deer this year. Darrell enjoyed listening to country music, but took the most pride in his family, especially his niece and nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Moore Jr.; paternal grandpa, Darrell Moore Sr.; maternal grandparents, James and Ina Orick; and uncles, Kevin Moore and Charles Frye.
Darrell was survived by his mother, Leandra Rae (Orick) Moore; sisters, Tina Moon and husband Robert Laswell, and Ina Wright and husband Dallas; niece, Alexsis Wright; nephews, Dallas Jr., Dakota, and Brayden; best friend and cousin, Billy Moore; special friends, Jake and Kelly Tetidrick, Dillon Thompson, Austin Hunt, Burt Blyestone, Cory Moore, Kelsey Batchlor, Mikayla and Philip Lalen, Desi Burk, Dalton and Dayna Buchholz, and Makalynn Allsup; as well as many friends and extended family
Service will be Friday, April 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., in Brazil, with Brother Stoney Lalen officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with a memorial to honor Darrell.
