FARMERSBURG — Ethel L. (Darkis) Zink, 76, of Farmersburg, passed away on May 9, 2013.
She was born Sept. 27, 1936 in West Terre Haute to Charley Darkis and Veachel (Blair) Darkis.
She worked along with her husband in their office. She was a homemaker who loved camping, needle work and mushroom hunting.
She married John Zink in 1960 and had 32 wonderful years with him before his death in 1992. She is also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Leland, Harry, Charley, Delbert and Gary; and a nephew, Perry Dively.
Ethel is survived by one sister, Linda (Ellsworth Perry) Dively of Farmersburg; one brother, Herman Darkis of Lake Station; one step-son, William Zink; two step-grandsons; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon on Monday May 13, 2013 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. The Rev. Kenneth Coffman will be officiating. Burial will be in K. of P.
