M. Keith Cornelison


MONROE CITY — MONROE CITY — M. Keith Cornelison, 81, of Verona, Pa., passed away March 16, 2014. Born Dec. 14, 1932 in Monroe City, Ind., Keith attended Indiana State University as an economics student. At age 26, Keith took the position of station operation manager of WMFT, Terre Haute. In the early 1960s he transitioned into television and worked as a broadcaster with WTHI, Terre Haute. Keith later became the director of the West Central Economic Development District of Indiana before relocating to Maryland as the executive director for the Calvert County, Maryland Economic Development Corporation.

Keith is survived by his wife, Marie; sister, Robynn; and his five children, Ken Cornelison of Cincinnati, Chuck Cornelison of Indianapolis, Drucilla McLaughlin and Beth Cornelison of Maryland and Michael Cornelison of New York City.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014, at 3 p.m. EDT in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, 13599 E. Governor’s Road, Monroe City, IN 47557.
