TERRE HAUTE —
James Jeffrey “Jeff” Mast, 59, of Terre Haute died Saturday evening, September 21, 2013, in his home. He was the head butcher at Mike’s Market where he worked for over 40 years. Jeff was born January 29, 1954, in Terre Haute to Dr. James F. Mast and Gwen John Mast.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Diane Gindele Mast; his son, Steven Mast and his wife, Mereith, of Frankfort, IN; his daughter, Jennifer Mast of Covington, IN; two grandchildren, Luke and Monroe Mast; his mother, Gwen Mast of Terre Haute; his brother, Dr. John R. Mast and his wife, Lynn, of Terre Haute; and his sister, Patricia Fulwiler and her husband, Richard, of London, England. Also surviving are his father-in-law, Albert Gindele of Terre Haute; nieces & nephews, Matthew Fulwiler, Cortney Fulwiler, Jay Mast and Christopher Mast and his wife, Amanda; and two great-nieces, Jenna & Kylee Mast. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. James F. Mast.
Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and attended Indiana State University where he was a member of SAE Fraternity. A lover of the outdoors, Jeff liked to fish, golf and bowl with his buddies and especially loved spending his free time at the lake with his family.
A memorial visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, September 26th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
