Clarence M. Barkman Jr., 82, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Delhi, N.Y., passed away in his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He retired in 1993 from the Delaware County (Delhi, N.Y.) Highway Department. He was born Aug. 9, 1931, in New Kingston, N.Y., to Clarence M. Barkman and Myrtle (Graham) Barkman.
Clarence is survived by his loving companion, Ellen Rohner; two daughters, Brenda Rotella of Delhi, and Tina Houk of Silvis, Ill.; son, Roger Barkman of Schenectady, N.Y.; a sister, Ruth Lawson of Schenectady; three brothers, Charlie Barkman of Kentucky, Arthur Barkman and George Barkman, both of Mesa, Ariz.; granddaughters, Marsha Rotella of Delhi, and Heather Anderson of Silvis; a great-granddaughter, Kholie Parker of Silvis; and several nieces and nephews.
Clarence loved to go camping at Dietz Lake.
Per Clarence’s request, cremation is scheduled. DeBaun Funeral Home, Wabash Avenue Chapel is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at:
