TERRE HAUTE —
Catana Lee Capobianco, 65, of Shelburn, and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away at 9:05 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital from heart complications. She was born on April 26, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cosmo John Capobianco and Thelma Christine Capobianco.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda Altvater and Kevin Altvater; two granddaughters, Skyler and Emily Altvater; brother, Charles Stanley Capobianco; a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Peek and Melvin Peek; and several nieces and nephews.
She loved to knit, crochet, sew and etc. She also had a love for animals of all kinds, but her passion was cats and dogs. She also had become a foster parent for dogs and cats, when her health would allow.
In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to Humane Society of your choice. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Second Prairie Creek Baptist (AKA) Lighthouse Lamb of God Church and Cemetery at Sullivan Place with Bob Parker of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Following services there will be food and fellowship get-together at Pimento Firehouse. We ask you to please bring a covered dish.
