Dustin Michael Woods

TERRE HAUTE — Dustin Michael Woods, 28, of Terre Haute, formerly of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, in Indianapolis. Dusty was born April 16, 1985, in Terre Haute, the son of Stephen Woods and Kathleen Sparks. Dusty worked in construction and as a cook at Sparky’s Roadhouse. He enjoyed cooking a good steak, fishing, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, playing pool and working on cars. He took his most pride in his four children who survive him, Gracie Parksey and her mother Joni Yockey, Chase Woods, Khloe Woods and their mother Heather Burk, and KenzLee Woods and her mother Taylor Moize.

Dusty is also survived by his mother, Kathleen Sparks; brother, Joseph Sparks; sister, Kara Woods; significant other, Taylor Moize; maternal grandparents, Kathleen Barnhart and husband Larry, Robert D. Sparks Sr. and wife Nancy; fraternal grandparents, James Woods and wife Mary; grandparents, Steve Burk and wife Debbie; uncles, Robert Sparks, James Sparks, Thomas Sparks, David Woods, and Kenny Barnhart; aunts, Patricia Long, Michellee Thompson, and Donna Cooper; cousins, Sarah, Daniel, Kelsey, Logan, Ellis, Penny, Ryan, Hally; as well as extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, in Brazil. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:30 p.m., until time of service at the funeral home.
