TERRE HAUTE —
Dorothy (Dee) Deanne Collins, 67, of Terre Haute, passed away Jan. 18, 2014, in her home with her husband by her side after a brief illness. She was born on July 18, 1946, in Terre Haute, to Robert Carroll and Dorothy M. Easter Carroll.
Dee graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1964. Dee enjoyed many outdoor activities and loved working in her flower gardens. She loved spending time with the family; she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Dee worked at Midland Glass for 18 years until they closed and then retired from Sony/DADC after 18 years.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; one nephew; one niece; and a brother-In-law.
She is survived by her husband, Robert I. Collins; daughters, Lisa Nottingham of Terre Haute, Traci Collier Fisher and husband Kevin of Bowling Green, and Patricia (Patty) Collins Yamashita and husband (Hiro) of Terre Haute; two grandsons, Kelly Chapman and Jessi Dust and wife Tiffany Dust; granddaughters, Jordan Allen, Autumn Yamashita and Natasha Hand; great-grandson, Jordan Targett; one sister, Linda Goy of Wolcott, Ind.; three brothers, Don Carroll and wife Sandy and Randy Carroll and wife Jan, all of Terre Haute, and Robert Carroll and wife Rita of Florida. Dee also has several nieces and nephews and cousins

Services will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with a visitation today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Kyle Andrews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VNA and Hospice of the Wabash Valley. Online condolences can be made at:
