TERRE HAUTE —
Sandra J. Snow, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Union Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Terre Haute, to Forrest and Yvonne (Weilly) Gilbert. She married Richard Snow on Aug. 12, 1983. Sandra worked for many years at Meadows Manor East as a CNA before retiring in 2005 to spend time with her family.
She was an excellent cook, and her chicken and noodles were the best around. She liked to read in her spare time. Sandra collected Betty Boop memorabilia. She had a zest for life and a delightful sense of humor. She enjoyed singing karaoke so much that she got her own karaoke machine. Sandra was loved by everyone she met, and when she loved someone, she made sure that they knew. She worked hard to raise her six children, making sure they carried on the family values that they were raised with. Sandra cherished the time she spent with her family, always looking forward to gatherings. She was an amazing wife and mother, and she will be missed greatly. There are not enough words to express the impact that Sandra made on not only her family’s lives, but the lives of all that came in contact with her.
