William Edward "Ed" Arnold Jr., 58, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 12:45 a.m. Ed was born March 30, 1955, in Paris, Ill., to William Arnold and Faye Barnes Arnold. Ed was employed by the State of Indiana in the Street Department. He was a member of the Life Center Church. Ed was a family man and very much enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a flirt and a jokester. He loved sports, loved to play golf, and loved the ocean and the beach.
Ed is survived by his parents; his son, William E. Arnold III and his wife Patti, and his daughter, Tangela Arnold and her significant other, Tyrone Hardin, all of Terre Haute. He also is survived by his brother, Robert Arnold and wife Chris; sisters, Melissa Scott and husband, Steve of Terre Haute; Rosie Hennessy and husband Bob of Indianapolis; and Patty Arnold of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Jadeyn Arnold, Tyson Hardin and William E. Arnold IV and his special friend, Gina Hair; as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.
Services will be Friday, July 5, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Pastor Tim Minks will be officiating, with Dustin Scott delivering a special message. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
