TERRE HAUTE — Sandra Kay Leclercq Price, 63, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She retired from the U.S. Postal service after 38 years of service. She was born Feb. 19, 1950, in Terre Haute, to Fred Isadore “Ted” Leclercq Sr. and Virginia “Gib” Smith Leclercq.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Billie Ray Price, whom she married Jan. 23, 1971 in Terre Haute; two sons, William Ray Price and his wife Soni and Anthony Isadore Price and his wife Jennifer, all of West Terre Haute; five sisters, Linda Lowe, Pat White, Toni Jeffrey, Mary Smith and her husband Steve, and Sally Debney and her husband David, all of West Terre Haute; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Patricia Leclercq of West Terre Haute; four grandchildren, Jordan David Daley, Bailee Christina Price, Makayla Marie Price, and Sophie Kaye Price; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; her little dog, Angel; and her two cats, A.J. and Whiskey. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Isadore “Ted” Leclercq Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Joe Jeffrey and Allen Lowe; a nephew, Fred Isadore “Teddy” Leclercq III; and three great-nephews, Rickey Agnew, Matt Lee, and Teddy Leclercq.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Terre Haute; and a former member of West Terre Haute Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid Cubs fan, an animal lover, and a Dale Earnhart fan. She enjoyed going to races with her family, watching her grandchildren in various sports, and bonfires and family get togethers.

Funeral services for Sandra will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Fleschner officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. The family kindly suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Terre Haute Humane Society or the animal shelter of donor's choice.
