MARSHALL, Ill. — Sheila K. Geheb, 73, of Marshall, passed away 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. She was retired from the TRW facility in Marshall. She was born April 5, 1941, in Effingham, the daughter of Clacy Cooper and Berniece Shorman Cooper. She married Robert J. Geheb on Dec. 3, 1960, in Marshall, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2006.
Surviving are a sister, Darlene (Woody) Wood of Hutsonville; a brother, James Cooper of Hutsonville; a sister-in-law, Katie Geheb of Vincennes, Ind.; several nieces and nephews, including, Sherry and Jason Cooper, James Cooper Jr., Jeff Cooper and Justin Cooper; and several great-nieces and great-nephews including, Callie Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Post 5975, and the auxiliary of Clark County American Legion Post 90. She was a graduate of Hutsonville High School.
Services in honor of her life will be 1 p.m. CDT Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home with, Pastor Kevin Small officiating. Burial will be beside her husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Marshall. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Saturday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Lincolnland Hospice or the St. Mary’s Cemetery Association.
