MARSHALL, Ill. — Harold Warren Ellshoff, 84, of Marshall, passed away at 5:12 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was the former owner/ operator of Marshall Monument Company for many years. He was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Clark County, Ill., to Earl F. Ellshoff and Louise Deaner Ellshoff.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Paul W. Ellshoff and Judy Ellshoff of Dennison, Ill.; his daughter, Susan Kay Mennes of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Franklin Ellshoff of Mooresville, Ind.; a sister, Marylou Cornelison of Marshall; a granddaughter, Kimberly Baugher; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn, and Kobe.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marshall, a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy and he was a former director of the Marshall City Band for many years.
Private graveside services will be 10 a.m. CDT Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Marshall Cemetery. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, in West Terre Haute, assisted with arrangements.
