CLINTON — Rose M. Favali, 84, of Terre Haute and formerly of Clinton, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Signature Health Care, in Terre Haute, She was born July 1, 1929, in Clinton, to Frank Shaubi and Edith Sanquenetti-Shaubi. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Clinton.
Rose loved her family and enjoyed her friends and she was an excellent cook. A good wife and mother and so much fun to be around with a great sense of humor. Had a talent for knitting, and crocheting, She used to love to dance with her husband Art. She married Arthur Favali on Dec, 2, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 30, 1994; a grandson, Andrew Favali on Nov. 3, 2004; and a sister, Barbara Nickels on Aug. 23, 1995.
Survivors include one son, Frank Favali and wife Marcia of Terre Haute; one daughter, Kathy Favali of Portland, Ore.; three granddaughters, Caitlin Favali, Laura Favali Warner, and Natalie Favali Warner; grandson, Alec Favali Warner; sister, Jo Ann Nickels and husband Lowell of Clinton; nieces, Nancy Contri and husband Bob, and Debbie Greeves and husband Dave, all of Hillsdale; nephew, Jeff Nickels and Maria of Terre Haute; several other nieces and nephews.
Prayer service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Giovanini Funeral Home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, in Clinton. The Rev. Father Michael Fritsch will officiate. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.
