CLAY CITY — Kenneth Miller, 84, of Clay City, passed away at Greene County General Hospital, on Sept. 23, 2013, following a brief illness. Kenneth was born April 29, 1929, in Clay County, the son of Fred C. and Zelphia (Bailey) Miller. He spent much of his life working as a farmer in the Coal City area. He enjoyed gardening and squirrel hunting.
Kenneth married Marjorie Bivens on Dec. 22, 1954; she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, who resides at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, in Jasonville; four cousins, Velma Goshorn of Linton, Deloris Megenhardt and Opal Stantz, both of Coal City, and Edrie Ruth Corbin of Clay City; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Bivens and Sharon Bivens, both of Clay City.
Services for Kenneth will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, with Pastor Steve Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery.
