Sara Elizabeth “Sarabeth” Myers, 90, of Fairfax, Okla., and formerly of Dana, died June 27, 2013, at Fairfax Memorial Hospital in Fairfax. She was surrounded by her family throughout her last days. Sara was born May 14, 1923, in Hopkins County, Ky., to the late Wallace and Hazel Gamblin Utley. Sara moved to Dana at the beginning of her senior year and graduated from Dana High School in 1941. People visited from across the state and filled the streets of the small town. A description of Sara’s life would be incomplete without mentioning her love of bridge, her many devoted friends and of course her fondness of flowers and floral arrangements.
