TERRE HAUTE —
Ted (Teddy) Marcus Vaughn passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home in Terre Haute. Ted was born to Theodore (Ted) and Loretta Vaughn, on March 2, 1962, in Terre Haute. Ted graduated from North Vigo High School in Terre Haute.
Ted served in the Indiana Army National Guard and was recently retired. He had a tour in Iraq and served his country honorably. He also had a career at the Putnamville Correction Center. He was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his parents, Theodore (Ted) and Loretta Vaughn of Terre Haute; wife, Lara Vaughn; three children, Alicia Vaughn, Ashlen Gamble, and Matt Vaughn; one brother, Rick (Paula) Vaughn; one sister, Crystal (Lewis) Berry; granddaughter, Haylee Marie Vaughn; grandma, Ida Belle Vaughn; mother and father-in-law, Don and Sandy Gamble; special niece, Amy; nephews, Phillip, Eric, and Marcus; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Edmond Schell, Grandpa Phillip Vaughn, and Grandma Rosie May; and Uncle Bud Schell.
Services are today, July 1, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street. Visitation will start at 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Following the service, a committal service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors.
