TERRE HAUTE —
Jacqualine Belle Bovenschen, 72, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Southwood Nursing Home, in Terre Haute. She was born in Terre Haute, to Charles Franklin Malone and Lottie Belle (Meeks) Malone, on May 1, 1940. She attended Wiley High School and graduated from Concannon in 1958.
Jackie married Wayne Bovenschen in March of 1981. Together they joined their previous families together having three children, Ronald D. Thompson Jr, and wife Lorre, Beth Sessions and husband Jim, Susan Rudisel and husband Craig. Jackie was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, April Anderson and husband Josh, Crystal Thompson, Lane Hall, Nick Sessions, William Sessions, Bethany Rudisel and Levi Rudisel. Jackie was lucky enough to have two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Marley Anderson. She was the baby of five children. She has two brothers, Charles “Pete” Malone and the late Elmer “Nook” Malone; she has two sisters, Mable “Tootie” Benjamen and the late Patty Worrell.
Jackie was an avid baker and cook. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed family reunions, gardening and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
