MARSHALL, Ill. —
MARSHALL, Ill. — Dorothy Marie Bermingham, 86, of Marshall, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Burnsides Community Health Center, in Marshall. She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Whiting, Ind., the daughter of Edward Salaba and Mary Wargo Salaba. She was a business owner.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bermingham; and her granddaughter, Kimberly Ferrell.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Ferrell and Marilyn “Sue” Washburn, both of Marshall; her grandchildren, Michelle Ferrell of Chicago, Denise and Roy Maurer of Marshall, and Debra and Eric Tingley of Marshall; her great-grandchildren, Emily and Bryan Bayes of Marshall, Elissa Maurer of Hume, Elaina Maurer of Marshall, Byrant Tingley of Mattoon, and Nathan Tingley, USAF Incirlic, Turkey; her great-great-grandchildren, Quinton Bayes of Marshall, Branson Tingley of Mattoon, and Cooper Bayes of Marshall; her sister, Sally Gannon of Richmond Heights, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
