Gary Leon Busenbark

CLINTON — Gary Leon Busenbark, 62, of Clinton, passed away at 11:22 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, in Vermillion Convalescent Center from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident on July 13, 2013. He was born on Nov. 24, 1950, in Clinton, to Herman Busenbark Jr. and Evelyn Hartman Busenbark. He graduated in 1969 from Turkey Run High School and later went on to graduate from United Electronics Institution. He was the owner of Countryside TV and Appliance. He had been past president of Clinton Chamber of Commerce and past president and was currently the secretary for Clinton Redevelopment Committee and served on various committees at First United Methodist Church. Gary loved bowling, riding his Harley, John Deere, and was a huge Notre Dame fan. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and the time he spent on the farm he grew up on.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Cumbow Busenbark, on Dec. 16, 2008, whom he married on Aug. 14, 1976. Also his mother, Evelyn Busenbark; a brother, Ronnie; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his father, Herman Busenbark Jr. of Judson; his son, Donnie and Michele Bogetto of Clinton; granddaughter, Cayli Bogetto and Greg Sandusky; and grandson, Dalton Bogetto, all of Clinton; his brothers, David Busenbark and Linda of Russellville, Roger Busenbark of Judson, and Tim Busenbark and Judy of Midway; his sisters, Karen Norton and fiancé Benny Branson of Rockville, Jonella Wallace of Raccoon and Cathy Forister of Rosedale; sisters-in law, Judy Weber and Bill of Clinton and Linda Graham of Terre Haute. Also, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Frist Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m.. Service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Charlie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley, Bono United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice. Online condolences can be made at:
