CLINTON — Barbara E. Clodfelter, 83, of Clinton, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013, in her residence. She was born on Jan 12, 1930, in Georgetown, Ill., to Levi Powell and Bannie Calhoun Powell. She was a homemaker and also served as Justice of the Peace.
She was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263, Women's West Terre Haute Greater Bowling Association, Blanford Sportmans Club Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of Cayuga Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Floyd Holycross; and her second husband, Malcolm Clodfelter.
She is survived by her daughter, Kendra and Dennis Church Sr., of Clinton; a son, Kenny and Pam Holycross Sr. of Cincinnati; a stepson, Michael Clodfelter and girlfriend Tammy Beauchamp of Clinton; four grandchildren, Kenny (Rhonda) Holycross Jr. of Middleton, Ohio, Jesstin Shively of Clinton, Denise Church of Clinton, and Dennis Church Jr. of Clinton; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Harrison and Keelie Harrison, both of Clinton, and Destiny Church of Dana.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 27, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Frist Funeral Home, 458 Blackman St., in Clinton, with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. with the Cayuga Legion Auxiliary Unit 263. Service will be on Tuesday at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Garrett Lee officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
