Patricia Anslinger Geraci

Patricia Anslinger Geraci, 47, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, in New York City. She was born Dec. 25, 1959.

Survivors include her husband, Victor Geraci; a son, Max; daughters, Olivia and Isabella; parents, Walter and Patricia Anslinger of Terre Haute; a sister, Karen Land of Chicago; a brother, Steve Anslinger and wife Lisa of Cincinnati,Ohio; a niece, Carrie Anslinger of Cincinnati and nephew, Michael Anslinger of Chicago.

Patricia attended Schulte High School until it closed then she graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 1978. She received an engineering degree from Purdue University in 1982 and a master’s of business administration from UCLA in 1987.

Patricia received a Purdue University Outstanding Industrial Engineer Award in March 2007. In 2000, Patricia joined Accenture as the global head for mergers and acquisitions for Accenture’s strategy and business architecture practices, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

Prior to working with Accenture, Patricia worked at McKinsey and Company, where she founded McKinsey’s private equity practice and where she worked with CEOs and senior management on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, portfolio restructuring, operational improvements, corporate finance and corporate strategy. While at McKinsey, she was published in the January 1996 edition of the Harvard Business Review: “Growth Through Acquisitions: A Fresh Look.”

Patricia previously held jobs working as an investment banker for Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and as a manufacturing engineer for Hewlett-Packard.

Patricia contracted lung cancer in 2004. Burial will be in Roxbury, Conn. A local memorial service will be held in Terre Haute at a later date.
