Stella Pearl LaMaster Leturgez Lindley

Stella Pearl LaMaster Leturgez Lindley, 54, of Terre Haute, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 30, 2011.

She was born May 31, 1957, in Terre Haute, to Clifford LaMaster and Esther Letner LaMaster. They preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Barth Dave’ Goodman; two brothers-in-law, David Barth Sr. and Thomas Liffick Sr. 

Stella attended Terre Haute North Vigo High School. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Terre Haute. She was employed by Hardee’s, Pizza City, Sony DADC and Rose Hulman Institute of Technology until she became disabled in 2000. Stella enjoyed playing softball, bowling and other sports when she was in good health. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing Yahtzee and Bingo; spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and her beloved Pug, Dakota. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, companion and friend.

She is survived by a son, Billy Joe Leturgez and wife Stacie of Adrian, Mich.; a daughter, Sherry Edington and her husband Adam of New Goshen. She also is survived by four grandchildren, Shelby and Aaron Edington, Skylar Morgan and Brendon Leturgez; a sister, Jo Ann Liffick of Terre Haute; a niece, Faith Lane and her husband Jason; two nephews, Thomas Liffick Jr. and David Lee Barth; great-nieces and nephews, Kay Lee and Dustin Barth and Charity and Hope Lane. Stella also is survived by her companion, Ronald Lindley; the father of her children, Paul Leturgez and many cousins and friends.

Services are 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., in Terre Haute, with the Rev. Marvin Miller will be officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If friends so desire, contributions may be made to Terre Haute Humane Society.
