Thelma I. Brackall

TERRE HAUTE — Thelma I. Brackall, 84, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at her son’s home in West Terre Haute. She was born April 19, 1928, in Vigo County, to Lewis Froschauer and Mable Adelsberger Froschauer. Her husband, Bill Brackall, whom she married Nov. 3, 1951, preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1996.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Linda Brackall of West Terre Haute; her daughter and son-in-law, Diana Kesler and John A. Kesler II of West Terre Haute; a sister, Linda Heien of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Jerry Froschauer of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Matt Brackall and wife Kristy of Terre Haute, John A. “Trey” Kesler III and wife Robbi of Olympia, Wash., Ashley Luken and husband Greg of Terre Haute, Josh Brackall and wife Chelsea of Terre Haute, and Madison Kesler of West Terre Haute; three great-grandchildren, Ellie Grace Luken, Gregory “Trip” Luken, and John A. “Jack” Kesler IV; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Betty Anderson.  

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6574 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing bingo. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012,, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Cain officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Sunday. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.fitzpatrick-funeralhome.com
