William “Bill” Nickle
ROCKVILLE — William “Bill” Nickle, 57, of Rockville died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was employed in the maintenance department of Futurex Industries, Marshall, Ind. He was born June 6, 1952 in Crawfordsville, Ind. to the late Donald Clark Nickle and Sidney Kelsheimer Nickle.
Survivors include three brothers, John (Marilyn) Nickle of Rockville, Jim (Linda Kay) Nickle of Kingman, David (Tracy) Nickle of Rockville; six sisters, Karen (Bill) Niehoff of Marshall, Ind., Linda (Roger) Long of Lafayette, Jennifer Nickle of Beech Grove, Ind., Pam (Kenny) Ryan of Marshall, Ind., Kathy Long of Rockville and Kristin (Ron) Martin of Fredericksburg, Va.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a 1970 graduate of Rockville High School. He was also employed by the Rockville Public Library, G.C. Murphy Company in Rockville and the Rockville Fire Department. He was an avid reader.
A visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St. in Rockville. Cremation follows with inurnment at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Marshall, Ind. at a later date.
