Betty Jo Beebe

Betty Jo Beebe, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2009, at Meadows Manor North Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 23, 1931, in North Terre Haute to Joseph Goda and Eva Pearl (Sturm) Goda.

Betty graduated from Otter Creek High School, and later worked as a dishwasher at Wabash College in Crawfordsville. She loved doing ceramics, classical music, and artwork. She loved creative things and was very full of life.

She is survived by two sons, Chester Beebe and wife Linda, and Samuel Beebe and wife Cindy; grandchildren, George Beebe, Billy Beebe, both of Tulsa, Okla., Bobby Wilkins and Robin Wilkins, both of Eureka Springs, Arks.; a brother, Warren Goda of Plainfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Beebe; and two sons, James and Gary.

No services have been scheduled. Betty will be buried in Roselawn Memorial Park next to her mother. Thomas Funeral Home assisted in making the arrangements.
