Clifford R. Vanderbilt
Clifford R. Vanderbilt, 79, of Terre Haute, died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in his residence. He was born in Vigo County, to William Clifford Vanderbilt and Flora Berg Vanderbilt.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty Vanderbilt; three sons, Raymond and Linda, Duane and Janice and Gordon; grandsons, Craig, Ryan, Justin and Jacob; granddaughter, Heather; great-granddaughter, Kayla; and great-grandsons Kristopher, Andrew and Nathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dwight; and an infant daughter, Lou Ann.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with Pastor Gene Jeffers officiating. Burial is in Mount Pleasant. Visitation is 4 to 8 Tuesday in the funeral home. Pallbearers are Duane, Raymond, Gordon, Justin, Jacob and Craig.
